In Oakland, California, a startling incident unfolded as a 77-year-old homeowner found himself at the center of a controversial arrest after fatally shooting a robbery suspect. The homeowner, whose identity remains undisclosed, was taken into custody under suspicion of murder following an event that transpired at 98th Avenue and Burr Street in East Oakland on Monday evening.
Reports indicate that the homeowner confronted two men and a woman at his property who showed up in a stolen Infiniti Q40. Eyewitnesses recall observing the trio trespass onto the premises, with one of the men wielding a crowbar.
Responding to the distress call, law enforcement authorities arrived on the scene to find the homeowner brandishing a Colt Python revolver at the female suspect. The fatal outcome of the encounter left one of the male suspects dead, despite the efforts of Oakland firefighters and paramedics to save his life. As the investigation progresses, the deceased suspect's identity remains undisclosed.

The apprehension of the third suspect on the scene, in possession of a replica gun, shed light on the gravity of the situation. While the homeowner was taken into custody following the incident, formal charges are pending as prosecutors from the Alameda County District Attorney's Office (Team Soros?) review the case.

Legal expert Michael Cardoza provided insight into the complex nature of the case, emphasizing the balance between lawful self-defense and unlawful aggression. Cardoza highlighted the importance of being under imminent threat to justify resorting to self-defense measures, underscoring the homeowner's right to safeguard himself and his home against potentially life-threatening intruders.
As the community grapples with the aftermath of this event, the impending decision by prosecutors on whether to press charges against the homeowner remains a focal point of scrutiny and debate, underscoring the nuances at play in cases of self-defense and personal safety.

The perps are Korean ? Canadian ? Peruvian ? Anglo ?
🤣👍
Don’t be an idiot. They are/were obviously Amish. ;0
No way they were trump supporters in full Maga regalia
Of “Irish” decent, too.
Decent Irish, or Irish descent?
Loyal Dems and serial Biden voters.
Nothing tragic about it, except that the man was arrested.
So, the home owner’s Colt Python was a stolen gun??
Need more details on that…..
Perpetrators were armed with gun (replica) and crowbar. I would feel that my life was in danger and would have acted accordingly.
Apparently, the DA is upset that a couple of criminals in her community were taken out of commission. That was not her mission when she became Soros’ pawn. Her mission was to increase the number and success of criminals. Seems she prefers the police to arrive at the home of the privileged white man to outline his body in chalk.
I’m sick to death of hearing these cases. A house is a mans castle. If we can’t protect what we earn and build, as in a house, a family and a future then there is no point. So I need to know wtf is the current commie laws should I build a future or join Bidens team and turn to crime? And I need to know now because ignorance of the law is no excuse. Unless you’re a criminal of course. This should be on the FRONT burner every second of every day until resolved.
Was he “brandishing” the gun by holding the perp until the police came? Oooh, sounds so sinister to have a homeowner “brandishing” when protecting his property and life.
The picture posted of a man holding a gun shows something is fake about him and his gun.
The gun shown is not a Colt Python.
His only sin was remaining in Oaklandia
Second amendment period!!!!
77 years old, 1 vs 3, one criminal has a crow bar and the other is armed- AND the Soros DA and tv pundits have the gall to investigate & speculate whether this is a self defense case??!
The Democrats facilitated America’s crime epidemic, aid and abet the criminals who prey upon us, while actively working to revoke all of our rights & disarm us.
In the Progressive States of America the people have the rights to own nothing, protect nothing and take their abuse in silence. The left is incapable of doing anything of value for society. The left destroys and breeds dependency.
He should have shot the other 2
Bought and paid for DA has to support the criminals. Send a message by arresting the victim is the Soro’s way.
Lord, when oh when will you finally allow Calipornia to slip off into the Pacific? AMEN!
Wouldn’t have gone down that way here in Florida. We’re still allowed to protect ourselves if someone invades our homes.
So glad that in Texas we can stand our ground. You come in my house? You are a threat.
“Nuances at play”? “Complex nature of the case”? The trio showed up to rob our arrested homeowner, did they not? “Eyewitnesses recall observing the trio trespass onto the premises, with one of the men wielding a crowbar.” Yeah, sounds super-complicated.
