Skiboky Stora, a 40-year-old resident of Brooklyn, has been indicted on hate crime charges for a string of assaults in New York City over the past year. The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced the charges on Tuesday, stating that the attacks were motivated by “anti-female, anti-white, and antisemitic” sentiments.
The incidents, which occurred between September 2023 and March 2024, have left the community alarmed and concerned for their safety. Stora faces three counts of third-degree assault as a hate crime, one count of third-degree stalking as a hate crime, and aggravated harassment in the second degree.
Skiboky Stora, 40, has been indicted on hate crime charges following a series of assauIts targeting whites, women, and Jews since September.
His bail was just $10,000, well below the $25,000 requested by DA Bragg.

One of the victims, a 23-year-old white woman, captured her assault on TikTok, bringing attention to the series of crimes. The attack took place on March 25 in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, where Stora allegedly struck the woman in the head, causing her to fall to the ground. The victim suffered pain and swelling on the left side of her head.
Videos posted by several women on TikTok describe similar incidents of being punched or attacked while walking down the streets of Manhattan. District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg condemned the hate-motivated attacks, emphasizing that “nobody should have to fear for their safety because of their identity.”
The first known assault occurred on September 20, 2023, when Stora allegedly elbowed a 17-year-old white student in the neck in Chelsea, accompanied by derogatory remarks. Another incident took place on October 26, where a fair-skinned 37-year-old woman was elbowed by Stora, resulting in pain and bruising.
On November 18, a white Jewish couple walking their dogs in Union Square crossed paths with Stora. The woman noticed him tearing down posters about kidnapped Israeli hostages and took a photo. Stora, in response, began shouting anti-white and antisemitic remarks, including the vile words, “F—- you white boy.” He even followed the couple into a building lobby, persistently yelling, “Die, Jews, Die!” Thankfully, they found refuge with a helpful woman who invited them into her apartment.
The spree of attacks culminated in the assault on the woman who bravely shared her story on TikTok. Stora was arrested two days later and has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Remarkably, he is representing himself in court, with his next hearing scheduled for August 6.
It is worth noting that Stora had previously sought public office in New York, participating in the 2021 New York City mayoral debate and filing a petition to run for New York governor in 2022. Additionally, records indicate that he ran for the District 9 seat on the New York City Council last year.
As the case unfolds, the community hopes justice will be served and that such hate-motivated acts will not be tolerated. The series of shocking incidents serves as a stark reminder of the importance of standing against hate and supporting measures to ensure everyone’s safety, regardless of their gender, race, or religion.
