Former President Trump, despite his recent guilty verdict [1], has emerged from a grueling six-week trial in a “freezing” New York City courtroom, ready to hit the campaign trail once again. In a clear message to President Biden’s team, Trump’s campaign warns them to “buckle up” for the upcoming political showdown.
Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree in the case of New York v. Trump. Presiding Judge Juan Merchan mandated Trump’s presence in court every day of the trial, except Wednesdays when court was not in session.
Throughout the trial, the former president did not shy away from railing against the judge and Democrats, decrying his confinement to the courtroom. Trump frequently lamented the freezing temperatures and referred to it as being stuck in a “freezing cold icebox.”
Karoline Leavitt, spokesperson for the Trump campaign, voiced their criticism on Fox News [2], stating that “Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats confined President Trump to a courtroom for more than eight hours a day for more than six weeks, and he’s still winning. Now that he is fully back on the campaign trail, Biden and the Democrats better buckle up.”
Leavitt highlighted Trump’s achievements during the trial, including generating billions of dollars in earned media coverage, hosting massive rallies and impromptu campaign stops in New York and beyond, widening his lead over Biden in polls, and surpassing Biden and the Democrats in fundraising for the month of April. The trial, far from derailing his momentum, had the opposite effect, only strengthening Trump’s position.

Capitalizing on the trial’s location in New York City, Trump emphasized the decline of the city since the assumption of office by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
During a visit to an upper Manhattan bodega, Trump was greeted warmly by New Yorkers, declaring his intent to “straighten out New York.” The crowd chanted “Trump, Trump, Trump,” “Four more years,” and “We love Trump,” while singing the national anthem.
Trump vehemently criticized the trial and the charges against him, claiming it was “rigged,” “all politics,” and connected to the Biden regime.
Additionally, the former president announced that the trial’s impact could have a “reverse effect” on his campaign. Trump saw an opportunity to focus on local campaigns, particularly on combating crime and supporting the authority of the police in New York City. He expressed his determination to improve the conditions of the city, which he believed had deteriorated significantly in the last three to four years.

Throughout the trial, Trump strategically crisscrossed the nation for rallies and campaign stops on Wednesdays, returning to New York City for court proceedings on Thursdays. The only non-Wednesday Trump spent outside the courtroom was to attend and celebrate his youngest son Barron’s high school graduation in Palm Beach, Florida.
Trump’s rallies in and around New York City attracted unprecedented crowds, even in traditionally Democratic strongholds. Notably, his rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, marked the largest political rally in the blue state’s history [8], drawing between 80,000 and 100,000 supporters. Trump confidently asserted during the event that his movement based on “love, intelligence, and common sense” is expanding across the nation, even in blue states.
In a strong show of support, Trump held a massive rally in the Bronx, rallying an estimated 25,000 attendees at Crotona Park. During his speech, he pledged to turn New York City around quickly and make it bigger, better, and greater than ever before.
Looking ahead, the presidential race against Biden shows no signs of abating. Despite the conclusion of his trial, Trump faces a debate with Biden, scheduled for an unprecedented early date of June 27.
Trump’s sentencing hearing for the New York City criminal conviction is set for July 11, just days before the start of the 2024 Republican National Convention, creating a potentially significant moment for the party and Trump’s future aspirations.
As the former president resumes his campaign efforts, Trump’s return to the political arena has energized his supporters and rattled his opponents, promising an intense and closely-watched battle in the coming months.

Friendly reminder:
President Trump never even took a tax deduction but the Crooked Judge would not allow that evidence in the court room.
THIS IS A RIGGED CASE.
