China’s history of covering up past epidemics, such as the initial Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak in 2003 and the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, has led to skepticism among parents regarding the transparency of the current situation. However, it is crucial to consider other potential causes of the outbreak. Experts speculate that Mycoplasma pneumoniae, also known as walking pneumonia, could be behind these recent cases. Walking pneumonia has reportedly been on the rise in China.

The impact of this outbreak is visibly overwhelming hospitals in the affected regions. While the cause and scope of this concerning illness are yet to be definitively determined, it is essential to differentiate pneumonia, which affects the lungs, from being directly contagious. However, the respiratory viruses and bacteria that can lead to pneumonia can be spread from person to person.

As the situation unfolds, concerned parents and health officials await more conclusive information regarding the origins and extent of the outbreak. For now, the focus remains on protecting the well-being of children and working towards effective containment measures to prevent further spread.

“In addition to the crazier news like the shooter in NY and the explosion at the Rainbow Bridge, it was also revealed that a bacterium is spreading around China and parts of Asia, including Vietnam. It is resistant to the current macrolides that are typically used to deal with this mycoplasma pneumonia.

One of the primary affected groups by this bacteria, which is resistant to the existing forms of stopping the spread via the introduction of a macrolide to the P1 Adhesin protein that allows it to attach to cells, is children. In tandem with this, one of the bigger issues compounded by our handling of Covid-19 is the fact that the alternative treatment of this illness via the administration of a Fluoroquinolone known as Moxifloxacin is not safe to administer to children, pregnant women, and people with cardiac issues. This is where it gets dicey as there are two possible groups of people who would be newly admitted into this exclusionary group.

People who have had Covid-19 and now have cardiac issues as a result. People who have gotten the Covid-19 vaccine and are experiencing cardiac-related adverse events.

Both of these groups won’t be able to receive adequate treatment for this illness, which will end up spurring on the creation of a new therapeutic that could likely be pushed through. This is sure to face steep resistance from the people who already were skeptics of the Covid-19 vaccine, which will cause a political fight over this issue resulting in one side being proven right, but the cost of being wrong may be a lot of dead children as this bacterial infection seems to be targeting children.

No, I don’t claim to have all the answers, but one thing that I do know is that when people have their children on the line, they tend to act differently. And that’s where a lot of the rationality goes out the window. We’ve already seen in New York where they are introducing legislation, or rather, a dictate that people can now be quarantined by the government without much of any recourse, so it’s highly likely that enough people will march in lockstep with this sort of dictate, if they think that they can prevent the deaths of children. This is where you start to get into the enhanced political fight and a lot of willpower being tested.

One of the largest issues here is going to be that there will be no distinction made between the group of people who do not want to comply with tyrannical mandates that are not based in science, and the people who are basically saying that they’re not going to do anything or take any precautions. Those people will all be lumped together and blamed wholeheartedly if this turns out to be something that is seriously affecting children and adults in vulnerable categories. We don’t even know what the full vulnerable categories are because of the mutation rate of this bacteria and the fact that the toxins that are produced by it largely appear to be by virtue of those same mutations.

What makes it seem even crazier is that Xi Jinping recently visited San Francisco while this was going on in his own country and spreading. I’m not trying to spread a conspiracy that China may have deliberately brought some people carrying the bacteria over here, or maybe passed some information to a lot of tech oligarchs and leaders who wanted to meet with him. But there are some implications for the spread of this information that’s going to happen on X, but may be suppressed on other platforms.

That’s a very huge gray area, and I think it’s something that does need to be considered given what we know happened during the Covid-19 pandemic.

All I know is that there’s plenty of fatigue for any sort of pandemic-related measures, especially after all of the pseudoscience that was introduced during Covid. Either way, you have a recipe for the pro-liberty side to be delegitimized and a lot of the pro-authoritarians in government that lost their mandate to dictate to suddenly face a sudden renaissance and resurgence in credibility. What is the long-term outcome of this? I don’t know, but all I know is that we all need to be frosty and to make sure that we are in the best shape of our lives because this is possibly going to be coming up in the next few months.
